returns at Wink & See

At Wink & See, we aim for satisfied customers. You can try your ordered glasses at home for 30 days. Not completely happy? You can still return them.

You have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 30 days of receiving your order, without giving any reason. After you inform us us of your decision to withdraw, you then have another 14 days to send back your order. 

Example timelines:

  • product received on April 1 → try-on period until April 30
  • cancellation requested on April 10 → return must be sent by April 24

returning your order

Please inform us of your decision to cancel before the cancellation period ends. The return shipping costs are at your own expense. You can return your order as a mailbox parcel (letterbox package) via, for example, PostNL or DHL, which is cheaper than a regular parcel.

Make sure the product is well packaged (preferably in the original packaging) to prevent damage, and send your return with track & trace so you can follow the shipment. It’s also important that we can identify who the return is from. Therefore, please include the invoice or a note with your name and order number.

what will be refunded?

The price of the frame is always refunded. Basic prescription lenses do not affect this, as they do not come with an additional charge on our website. So if you purchase the budget option, you will always receive a full refund when you return your order.

and what will not? Custom-made lenses (combined with a glasses prescription) for which an additional charge applies on the website are not refundable. These lenses are made specifically for you and are therefore excluded from the right of withdrawal. Glasses ordered without a prescription are always fully refunded.

made a mistake? 

Did you make a mistake when entering your prescription and you can’t see properly through your new glasses? It can happen! We can remake your glasses for you. We will remake the glasses for 50% of the additional cost of the chosen lens option. You will need to return the pair you already received. Please contact our customer service team, we will be happy to help!

change or cancel your order? This is always possible if the entire order has been placed without prescription lenses. If the order has been placed with one or more pairs of prescription glasses, you can change or cancel the order free of charge up to four hours after placing your order. After four hours, the order will be treated as a return because it has entered the production process.

refunds

Once we have received and inspected the product in good condition, we will refund the purchase price using the same payment method you used, unless you agree to another method. If the entire order is returned, the standard shipping costs you paid when placing the order will also be refunded.

We aim to process refunds within 14 days of receiving the returned items.
